BEDFORD — Rebecca C. Probasco, 64, of Bedford, died at 4 a.m. Monday at her residence.
Born on May 12, 1947 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William Connors and Betty (Slinkard) Connors.
She was married to Ronnie Probasco for 27 years.
She was a 1965 graduate of North Central High School, Indianapolis, and a graduate of the Cosmetology School of Indianapolis.
She was a retired beauty salon owner and beautician, having worked at various salons throughout her career.
She attended Fayetteville Baptist Church for many years, and was a member of the Shawswick Alumni Group.
Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Probasco, of Bedford; two daughters, Danette Payton of Bedford, and Tessa (Wesley) Tipton of Bedford; two sisters, Deanna (David) Buck of Indianapolis; Barbara (Kevin) Wayman of Indianapolis; one brother, William (Linda) Connors II of Bedford; four grandchildren, Josie Mollet, Jesslyn Mollet, Braydon Tipton, and Haley Tipton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Pastor Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Rebecca was a true country girl who enjoyed mushroom hunting, and fishing at Kenray Lake, and crafting. She also loved her grandchildren dearly.
